Default transmision crossmember

considering I removed it yesterday now im putting it back in today and cant remember which way is forward. it has a curve to it to offset the tranny mount forward or back depending which way you put it in.

Looks like the flat side goes toward the engine, the beveled side to the rear. You can look in the 2002 service manual page 21 - 370, well at lest if it is a 45RFE trans.

service manual, haha been looking in the parts manual. realized I should put something in my sig so what I have/am working on is known without having to repeat everytime

that diagram is not accurate. '00 has a flat cross member, if you lay it on the ground its flat. if you stand it on its front or rear edge is like C

There is a hole that a bolt screw into the crossmember for either the fuel line or evap line. Thats on the driver side, That would be the correct way the crossmember is installed. Also look how the motor mount is bolted to the crossmember too.
