Cable broken on Window Regulator? Had the exact thing wrong with my Civic, could hear the motor running, but the window wouldn't move. Just repalced the regulator and VIOLA! Fixed, atleast yours goes down, My passenger side windows just don't go down lol

Yep, almost certainly a cable. This is something I'm pretty familiar with. I pulled the passenger regulator out to see why the window wouldn't move, turned out the cable was balled up inside the pully case. I tore it all apart, cleaned it up and got new cables and put it all together but I'm having a hard time getting cable stops that will hold. After running it up and down for a few minutes to test it thoroughly, the stops pull off the end of the cable. I don't have a swaging tool (using a crimper), and I can't seem to get it to work well. I've thought about solder, but it's hard to get solder to stick to galvanized wire, apparently.

Anyway, Kmalo...these guys are 100% right, broken cable (or cable stop pulled off end of cable). You can either buy a new regulator ($60 and up), or elect to be a cheapskate (and a master DIY guy ) like me and repair it yourself, spending a few bucks on cable, and a few days trying to figure out how to make the cable stops stay on the end of the cable.
