HELP....popping noise

Angry HELP....popping noise

HELP.....im stumped.my durangois making a popping noise and jerking when i turn.it only does it when turning,but not when going straight.and it is worse when backing up.we changed the CV-Joints and the U-Joints.the tierod ends and wheel berrings all look good.what are we missing?we cant figure out what it would be.PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE HELP.

+1 on the ball joints (probably lower), and if they're so bad they're popping and causing steering problems, you should probably stop driving it until you fix it.

I had the same deal. Took it to the dealership for the free ball joint recall. It drove like new after that. Took about an hour. Here's a link to tell you how to do it yourself if you really want to. http://www.cfht.hawaii.edu/~grant/Ba...eplacement.pdf
