Do you know if the shifter block has been replaced under the recall?

FIRST, make sure your wheel is locked...
I would have this happen A LOT when I parked in the garage at work and had to park after making a sharp turn.
I know it sounds stupid, but just wiggle your wheel. Make sure it's not moving freely...
Then try. Took me YEARS to figure this out. I sat out in the cold (well Austin, TX cold...) so many days unable to move out of park...
Now that's NOT gonna explain the shifting problem
I figured out there is a safety button on the inside that pops out when you shut the key off, and pops back in when you turn the key on to start. This button is not releasing itself when i start the truck. I think its to prevent shifting when the key isnt in. Took the rubber off the sift lever to figure this out! Thinking maybe it would have something to do with my ignition going out too?? Im slowly figuring it all out. Thanks everyone!

Yes it was replaced back in 2008. They said there's nothing they can do about it now.
