if you had water in your gas (moisture int he lines) i would say the problem would always be there, not only when cold, if you want to put a bottle of heat in it go right on ahead it wont hurt anything, but i think its your battery myself.

I put some gas treatment/antifreeze in the truck and so far this morning nothing happened. I will check the battery tomorrow and clean the wires and terminals. I also added trans fluid since i was a bit low due to a leak i had.

By nothing happening i mean everything was fine lol. Just clearing that up no stalling no fluctuating rpms.
