Default Did Dodge redesigne the 4.7 intake in 2002?

I am almost done with my 4.7 engine swap and as I was hooking things up on the intake I notice that I had to switch the throttle body from my motor because some of the plugs were different. This motor was supposed to have come from a 2002 Durango and mine is a 2002 Durango. I am just curious if there was some change done in 2002 and if I am going to run into more problems before I am done.

'99-'00 4.7 came stock with a 65mm TB but changed to a 68mm for the '01-'02 models but they both still used the same IAC and TPS sensors. In '03 they changed to a different style IAC sensor with a different type connector but still stayed with a 68mm TB. The '99-'02 sensor is mounted with 2 screws and the '03 up only uses 1 screw. Sounds like you may have gotten a '03 engine.

and bwdaks answers are correct, however dodge did not use the 4.7 until 2000 (it was in jeeps before that)

+1 SS. 2000 was the 1st year for the 4.7l in the Durango.

The Daks had items sooner and sometimes some items later than the Durango did. For example, there are many 2004 Dak parts that fit 2001-2003 Durangos. The Durango had already moved up to the Gen2 for 2004 but the Dak still shared many parts with the Gen1 2001-03 Ds then.
