The only problem with these hose kits are they are made from low quality rubber and barely last a year. I'm on my second set and they are already cracking after 5 months. I'm hoping these hoses are still available from Dodge.

dodge doesnt use any higher quality rubber(or if they do its not by very much), if you want a more permanent fix go the auto store, buy the size converter, and some fuel rated hose and fix it right.

The original hoses were on the car for 8 years and the replacements lasted about 9 months or so. I'm inclined to disagree with your statement.

just bc they were there doesnt mean they didnt deteriorate, either way fuel rate hose is a MUCH higher quality and will last longer.

my dads old 2003 dakota ate evap lines in the kits every year or so from the time it was new, until we put fuel rated hose on there to permanently fix the problem (we did this as soon as dodge stopped replacing them with 'factory equivalent' parts under warranty, at under 3 years old, he had the truck till 09 and the fuel rated hoses lasted him about 4 years.(i cant comment on any longer than that since he traded the 03 in for an 09 dak)

After I rebuilt my motor the last code was the imfamos evap p0441. I look under my car and notice that the 2 of the emission hoses that where taped together were melted by the exhaust. Then when I traced it under the hood to the top filter part of the hose had melted from battery acid. Dodge wants $100 for them. One hose is about 5/8 thick and the other is 3/8. Replaced and fixed

The only ones ive found at the autoparts is the one thats under the battery. The ones under the car i believe you can order at autozone or rockauto.
