Default I have power but engine won't turn over.

I have a 2001 STL 4x4 with about 150k miles on it. It's been running fairly well although in the last few months I have noticed that it sounds like it takes a split second to start up the engine. It was barely noticable.

So today I go out to the truck and my key fob won't open the door. I use the key in the door and check the power. The lights work, the radio has power, and now the keyless entry works. I try to start the car and I hear the clicking of the starter but the engine doesn't start. It doesn't sound like the engine is turning over at all.

Any suggestions, guys? I'm a newbie to engines but I'm decent at taking other things apart - doors, etc.

Car info - 2001 Durango SLT 4x4, 4.7L, 156k miles.

Thank you! I really appreciate it.

Dead Battery/Bad Connections on the battery.

I can almost guarantee it lol. I am AAA Certified when it comes to batteries and that is the sound I used to hear every 20 minutes when I was a Battery Tech for them.

Default It worked! Thanks guys!!!

I just tightened up the battery connections as one was loose and it totally worked. Saved me a ton of money from taking it in. I really appreciate the help!
