Default leaky D, have a look

looking to identify what is leaking from these pictures its seems to be leaking right from that seal not from the oil pan or whatever in front of it and if anyone could give some advice that would be great to thanks

hate to tell you, but it looks like one of the freeze plugs on the back of the block. I've had this happen before and you have to remove the transmission to get to it. PITA considering it's a 99cent part. About a grand in labor if you have someone do the work

Looks like coolant draining down the cab fire wall from the heater core connections.


If you have an inverted picture from the 2nd pic would confirm.

+1, because if it is oil it could be a rear main seal.

...or it could be a bad oil pressure switch at the back of the intake beside the dist?

it appears to be motor oil def not coolent thats all i know ;( ill try to get a few more pics

If it is trans fluid, there is a seal at the back of the transfer case that leaks and goes bad at around 9-10 years. That's my guess.

If its oil then i am guessing rear main seal? Just a thought, guys, what do you all think?
