All of us mods here at Dodge Forum are considering bringing back the Ride of the Month contest after it was dropped some time ago. Any one who would be interested post up in the ROTM thread here in the Durango section, based on responses from this section and others we will decide if the contest will return. So come on guys lets represent the Durango proudly.

By the way...what IS 'Ride of the Month'?

 

ride of the month is a sitewide competition where vehicles are nominated, and then voted on as to which truck is the nicest/favorite of those nominated (usually 3 vehicles per poll). the winner gets bragging rights and (in the old rules) a chance to run for ride of the YEAR. The reason it was stopped was due to a lack of maturity among some of the members who were involved in it.

Then you should bring it back, there are plenty of members who spend a lot of time on there rides, if some one has a problem there is always next month.......................

Well one of the issues that we had when we pulled the plug was nobody went in and voted. The second issue we had was because the Ram section is so popular if there was a half way decent Ram in the running all the Ram owners would vote for it and not the best build vehicle.

For instance, lest say there was a top notch Durango and a simple lifted Ram with some engine mods, a lift and tires, well the Ram would win, even though the Durango may have had 20k in parts and accessories!

 

then why don't we have a separate Durango of the month, Ram of the month, and so on
