Default ABS light problem

I have a 2001 Durango 5.9 R/T, AWD with automatic transmission. For about the last week whenever I come to a stop from a highway speed my ABS and parking brake light come on. Once they come they stay on until I shut off the vehicle. The brakes seem to be stopping fine and I am not getting any codes on OBDII reader. I looking for any suggestions of where to start looking? I am thinking it might be the ABS module, but I am not sure if there is any way to test it.

Thanks

LaTrang

It might not be a bad idea just to double check the plug connections.

On my truck something had hit the plug on the rear axle and it was cracked.
My nephew managed to get it glued back together and it's been good ever since.

Yes I would check your ABS sensor located on the top center of the rear axle, It is right behind the rear brake line junction box.

+1 on replacing the rear differential ABS speed sensor.

Anyone have any suggestions on this one. Both Abs and brake light came on, so I replaced the RWSS. The lights went out. a couple of months later my tail lights were staying on, so I replaced the brake pedal switch. The Abs and brake lights came on once again, so I changed out the transmission output speed sensor. No Joy, the lights are still on. Scratching my head on this one.

Well I already stated my answer on this thread and answered his question. If you re-post in a new thread, and describe everything you have including the ABS system you have, we could help you with your question. But this question is clogging up this thread.

Yes I have ideas for you, but open a new thread.
