Default ABS and Brake light staying on

Anyone have any suggestions on this one. Both Abs and brake light came on, so I replaced the RWSS. The lights went out. a couple of months later my tail lights were staying on, so I replaced the brake pedal switch. The Abs and brake lights came on once again, so I changed out the transmission output speed sensor. No Joy, the lights are still on. Scratching my head on this one.

build sheet says 2 wheel ABS
Hypertech tuner

Thank You

First thing I would do is go have a brake shop scan the codes... if it is a faulty controller module, I had mine repaired from www.modulemaster.com for a lot cheaper than a new one... granted, I have only had it back for a few days, but it seems to be working and they offer a 5 year warranty.

If you take it out to send off, you will lose cruise, speedometer, and of course your antilock brakes, but normal braking will work.

Could be the transmission output sensor, but if you have front ABS then it could be a front sensor. You should be able to tell if there are wires on your front wheel bearings or not.

I have already changed the transmission output sensor, and it is only rear wheel abs. I am going to double/triple check thr connection on the output sensor though.

If it is not the CAB, it is not the rear diff sensor, and not the trans output sensor, and you only have RWAL braking system then it has to be a wire somewhere. I know O'Reilly Auto Parts sells a new wire that connects the rear diff sensor to the engine bay harness, but you also have to buy a new sensor with the package. Last I saw it was about $120. You could just take back the one you already bought.

The other thing you could do is stop throwing money at in and simply take it in to the dealer or anyone that has a DBR-III scanner and have the CAB read to see what the actual issue is. I know it costs around $60.
