I've seen the threads on rear brakes grabbing when wet. Mine grab all the time. Started when I replaced the rear pads. I did not get a replacement spring kit. Used the old ones. Thought the rears were self adjusting. Any thoughts would be helpful.

 

Yes they are self adjusting but apparently they don't work very well. If you started out with them too tight then they will stay too tight until you loosen them, so try that first.

 

they are self tightening, they will not loosen on their own, if they start out too tight they will definitely stay too tight.


also the common thing is fronts grabbing when wet, never heard of it on the rears (if iv missed a thread about someone should let me know)
