Default What size radiator do I really need?

Hey guys,

I have the standard seal leak on the radiator in my 2001 Durango 4.7 w/the heavy duty cooling system. The current core size is 1 9/16. I'm having a terrible time finding anything to replace it that isn't 1 1/4. At some point, I will be towing a horse trailer, and being in SoCal, the summers can get kinda warm-never mind the traffic. Do I really need the 1 9/16 or is the 1 1/4 sufficient?

horse trailers tend to be kind of heavy ime i would want the heavy duty radiator on there, especially if you will be towing it often or far(or both)

The only upgraded radiators I have found are made custom by manufactures and cost an arm and leg. The OEM should be just fine.
