seems weird that it would only be there for one MY, next time im home ill have to take a close look and see what i can find.

also there should be more than 4 wires going into the mirror bc i believe all the mirrors with heat were also power soo(assuming the autodimming is there)


4 wires for power adjust (2 for up/down, 2 for right/left, they can switch polarity of the wires to reverse the DC electric motor)
2 wires for heat
2 wires for autodim
8 wires total


unless of course i misunderstood your wire count.

 

Definitely heated and power. Shouldn't hurt anything if I pop the mirror out of the housing and have a peek?

 

dont bother with that bc if it sticks you could break the glass.

just take the inside door panel off and have a look at how many wires go through the door into the mirror, there is one plug that they all have to go to if they go to the mirror.

ftr i did not get those numbers from a wire diagram, just used common sense and a knowledge of electricity.
