Question 98 dodge rad drain replace,help

hi new to forum,i have 98 durango 5.2 radiater leaking at drain fitting tryed pushing in out while turning can not get it to stop leaking, have to use truck for work in couple hours, how do i fix or replace vavle/fitting bayenet type, can i screw it out and replace??? thanks in advance for help.

If you asking about the petcock on the radiator, Yes you can replace just the rubber o-ring on the valve. The only problem is the part is sold only with the radiator. You will need to buy an o-ring from a parts stores and hope they have one.

i was able to stop it from leaking,hammer it back in gently, would like to replace it with old type im used to, open plug wing tube, petcock that worked for years ,most cars had. guess cant be done on this type rad,ill just pull bottom hose when needed....................thanks for reply.
