Default couple of questions

first off i want to replace the thermostat in my slt plus with the 5.9l. any recomendations on brand or will the basic vato zone duralast or what ever do the trick?

the second is im looking to replace the factory head unit and i want to know if our rangos are double din and what not. i hate the look of having one of those skinny radios and having to use an adaptor with it. looking to ubgrade to some thing with bluetooth and ipod intergration.

The factory D radio is 1.5 din... if you wanna install a double din you will have to do some trimming.

The thermo should do the trick but if you want something of better quality/standards you can go to say a carquest or napa...or look online and compare the different brands. Rockauto.com would be a good website to look at.

WRONG!

like oldschool said, the oem is 1.5din and a double din will not fit without some modding

There's plenty of good 1.5 din radios with bluetooth and ipod built in.
