Default Front wiper switch removal?

OK, before I go crazy, please help! The other day it was warm here so I drove home with the driver window open some. Forgot to close it and it rained hard at night. Enter truck in the morning and get a wet butt but everything is fine. Turn the wipers on and all is fine. It stops raining but now my wipers won't turn off. When I rotate the switch off they do the intermittent slow wipe thing.

I figure it's because the switch got wet (the whole dash & seat got soaked with the way the wind was blowing through the open window) so I'm going to try to take it off to clean / replace as needed.

How the heck do you take the switch off? I've been hovering over it for an hour looking for any type of opening and I can't seem to find it!

Thanks,
Bob

Take the black housing off ... there are 3-4 hex screws on the bottom that need removed..... to pull the switch off there are 3 hex screws... you will need a set of anti-tamper hex ( with the hole in the middle) to pull the switch off.

Got it, thank you! One new set of anti-tamper hex bits now safely tucked into the toolbox. Now it's off to the eye doctor to get fitted for some friggen' bi-focals so I can SEE this stuff again.....

I just used a small flat blade to snap off that security pin and then used regular bits. But, that's just me being to cheap to buy security bits.

Yeah, I try to buy Mac or Craftsman when possible. A friend picked up the anti tamper set for me at ADI, a local security system distributer, for 20 bucks. It's got more bits than I'll ever use.
