I haver a 1999 durango with 5.2 liter, 2 wheel drive. I drove it monday, It ran great. Sat for two days, went to start, engine turns over, no start. I used a screw driver in a couple of plug wires, it has fire. It has fuel to fuel rail. no start. I dont know much about fuel injection, I would greatly apprecaite your help. thanks!

If you got spark at plug wires, then next thing to check thats easy is fuel pressure, You need a fuel pressure gauge, you cant tell by pushing in on schrader valve at fuel rail. Not sure what pressure is suppose to be. I'd be guessing if i said around 45 to 55. let us know what pressure is.

I checked the fuel psi. I have 53 psi at the fuel rail. I noticed on the throtel body there is 3 electric plugs. One I think is for throtel controal. Does one of the others controll the injectors?

on the tb there should be plugs for the IAC, the TPS and possibly the MAF sensor, these trucks have a throttle cable on them so there is no throttle control motor on the tb.

53 psi is plenty

if you have spark id suggest trying to start the truck with the throttle open (put the gas pedal on the floor while cranking, of course once it starts let up on the throttle some so you dont over rev anything)

i recently started having the same problem, trucks runs fine once it is on but doesnt want to start, cranks and cranks and cranks. i tried the pedal to the floor before trying to start and it worked, motor started right up and ran fine, i do have a cel so idk if thats different from you

what does the pedal to floor start working mean? bad IAC?

pedal to the floor tos tart means you flooded the engine if you were cranking a bit.

if it is 100% cold and has been sitting a while without being touched my first thoughtw ould be to replace the IAC valve/motor.

try cycling the key to on (not start) then off a couple of times, then try to start it. There's a check valve in the fuel pump that can go bad and causes long cranking.
