I prefer the older design but the new one is important. Personally from the perfect angle they both look like a lab puppy that wants to go out and play. The way the nose and fender swells interact from an off facing angle make this funny dog faced appearance. The new on is nice because of all the new toys they are designing and putting in not to mention the Hemi. I really would love to see one with a Cummins Turbo Diesel... That would be the ultimate in cool boat/trailer/toy hauler! I bought the 2000 just under 2 weeks ago because the style size and features not to mention price were perfect. I don't want to see a return to the old design but I do want to see more of the look that the show vehicles are getting. That Dodge Maxx & Powerbox look. There is also the new small ute that is coming out on the Liberty platform that looks really great...like what the Durango should have been.

I don't share your opinion. However, I would like to commend you for your nice comment in regards to the Dodge Durango OF 2000.

Definitely OLD! It just looks...tough. I think the new one looks like a cross between a minivan and an SUV and the interior is hideous, in my opinion. It looks like some sort of euro trash interior. Even my wife thinks the new ones look a wimpy! What a waste to put a Hemi in that thing. Glad I bought one when I did.

Man, you guys are great. I'm glad I joined this forum. *Sighs when reminded of new Durango*
I'm mean for crying out loud, they make cars for potential buyers, therefore it only makes sense to get their opinions. Why the heck didn't they? Yeesh. It doesn't make sense. Why the Durango??? It didn't need a damn redesign. ASK.
