brake interlock

Default brake interlock

on my '00 4.7 durango is there suppose to be a brake interlock with transmision shifter? not liking being able to put it in gear without steping on the brake.

the 98-00 trucks don't have any brake interlock, only the 01 and up do

im not sure about the 98/99s but if you have the 'new' interior you have a brake interlock (00 was weird year, thats why i word it the way i did)

The 1998-1999 did not have it for sure.

As for the 2000 it was a change over year so it could not have it either depending on the month built and parts at the time.

I forgot about the 2000s. that was definitely a weird year
