Default Lift Kit for my durango

Just bought my first dodge durango today and have found a few lift kits. I am trying to figure out if i do a two inch leaf spring and then add a two inch shackel will that give me a total of close to 4inch in the rear?? And any ideas on a good place to look for aftermarket parts besides ebay??

Well the best thing to do is a t/s lift. Its only 2in but do the performance accessories body lift with it. That gives you 5 inches of lift for about $300 without destroying the integrity of the suspension. There are write ups on here on how to do both with before after pictures. The preferred shackles are belltech 6400's.

The cheapest place I found for the body lift was the site I mentioned in that thread. The steering did need to be extended but it's just a bolt on part that came with the lift. Brake lines didn't need to be extended for me but I did snap a rusty one trying to bend it to get it to work. Really the only thing I needed to extend besides the steering was the ground on the frame behind the front driver tire and that was also a bolt on part
