Default Brake lights won't work - 3rd brake light does

What can I look at...here is my issue. The brake lights won't work, except the 3rd brake light (upper center light)...

I have checked the fuses that I can find (only one is the one by the battery). Turn signals and flashers work.

What else can I look at? Thanks!!!

I think that this is usually a problem in the multi function switch, my buddy has this issue on his truck, the multi function switch was gonna run him around $150 bucks, so we wired the tail lights to the trailer light wiring, works great..

I see brake light switch on Kragen for about $12...is this what you are talking about? and...if so, if that was bad, would the 3rd light still work?

Thanks for the reply!

Before I went spending money I'd grab a buddy or the wife and a test light. I'd check the wires going to the bulb socket to make sure u were getting power back there
