I have a 2000 Durango with a 4.7L, I live in Minnesota, so the winters are cold. When I start it, especially in the morning, it takes about 10 seconds to start and there is a strong odor of fuel. I always turn the key on and let the fuel pump prime and does occur occasionally when the engine is warmed up. There i no engine light, and recently I reset the starting information in the computer (I disconnected the battery, turn the key to start for greater than 15 seconds.)
