I just got a new superchip tuner for my 99 318 and was wondering if anyone has done a custom tune with it? If so what do you recommend on it? My wife mostly drives it around town and runs errands and such so no real hauling and four wheeling every now and again but nothing major. It is 4x4 also. Thanks in advance.

 

I take it your wife isn't too worried about how fast she can get places, I never have used a custom tune on a Dodge so I'm really not sure what it will do. I would imagine it would work tho

 

Well a true custom tune can only be imputed into the tuner by a dealer and they do this whole placing your truck on a specific diagnostic machine.

With that said I think a good regular tune out of the tuner with an 87 octane will do you just fine.
