I have a new to me 2001 4.7l durango with the heated seats. When I turn on the drivers side the light on the button turns orange and blinks a bunch and turns off. the passenger will turn on and stay on. this problem occurs in the low or high setting but only on the drivers side? it also doesn't heat up. any ideas where to start?

 

you have a broken heating element in the drivers seat, go read the FAQ thread, there is a thread in there about how to fix this (i wrote it up) for free.
