Default My poor baby!

I was driving along, minding my own business, as was the guy in the right lane way behind me, the left lane came to a stop, but the right lane didn't, so the guy behind and ti the right kept going, not a problem... Then, some jerk decides to pull out of a parking lot in front of the guy in the right lane, and in an effort to avoid hitting this jerk the guy slams on his brakes, but loses control, and somehow ends up spinning around so that the rear passenger's side corner of his lifted Ford Ranger smashes into the back of my truck. And naturally the jerk in the Acura that caused this to happen drove off... Its still drivable, but needs a decent amount of work. It will be fixed, thankfully everyone involved had insurance. And thankfully these big trucks take accidents very well!

Get a hatch from the junkyard, get it fixed up, put it on. DONE.

Glad to see that you are fine though! The thing I really enjoy about these rigs, like you said, is that they can take a hit pretty well.

Yeah, this looks like it could have been much worse than it really was. Good luck getting everything taken care of! Glad to see you were safe.

Sorry about your luck. It seems like the idiots are the ones that always get away.... It could have been worse!

+5 or whatever were're on for you being ok. If people in this country could learn a little patience things like this could be avoided. As mentioned above junkyard hatch and paint it.

Nope, got rid of the Durango because I mainly used it for towing, then I got the dually for towing and put on the stroker kit and cammed it. Sold it to a buddy of mine and used the cash as a down payment for the Charger. THANKS!

I'm glad we're al OK too! The Durango will definitely get fixed, not sure where the new hatch will come from, but one will be found, as well as the rear bumper fixed and painted, and while its in the shop I'm gonna have them repaint the front one too. The rear damage will be insurance covered, so thats good.

Speaking of people needing to slow it down.

Just yesterday I saw the end result of a red ~2008 Volvo smashing into a ~2009 Suburban doing about 60MPH. Needless to say both vehicles were totaled. This was on a road that crosses a highway and the guy with the Volvo probably figured he could floor it and make the cross. Just slow down, money can't fix stupid.
