Throttle Valve Cable but I forgot the 45rfe does not have a kick-down cable. I put pull the pan to see what it looks like inside, sounds like an internal problem.

i'll look into it.i just did the tranny fluid 2 weeks ago,with both filters changed.never had more power off hop nd smoother shifts.not always wanting to kick down

yes, you hit something, the impact is what damaged them in this case and the impact doesnt give a sh*t how old they are.

i think your rack will be fine, from the impact, on the no ps check the fluid level, and look for leaks.

What kind of fluid did you use and was it doing this prior to you replacing the fluid?

i use atf +4 mopar...level is good on tranny and power steering.only slight wetness around in/out lines on rack(been there a little while i noticed)when i try turning the wheel(it's hard) the pump makes noise like it wants to go, but theres some sort of restriction? I think my inners were going anyways as i changed all front end parts and still had little pull and wander ..should i get the rack from the wreckers for 100.00?

started acting up week or so after tranny. rought starts ect...

anyone else?

Anybody know why i dont got power steering?If seals were leaking would i see?

no need to post 4 times in a row, most of us work during the day so we arent around to jump at your every post, we help out in our free time, all we ask is for adequate information and some patience to think it over and get on and reply.

ok anyway...I got the new rack in and got power steering back going.I also noticed my upper control arm was shifted, and the back end(out by a 1/4")..I got squared up and all back togther.Only problem is that my passenger wheel is cambered out..Is that upper or lower bj?
