Default trans not shifting

i know there are some other threads out there but i still cant seem to fix my problem. ive got a 2000 durango 4x4 5.9L. i just replaced the governor pressure solenoid and transducer in the tranny. new trans filter. replaced the speed sensor on the trans. and im still have the issues. 1-2 will mainly just rev up to 5-6000rpm and just not shift. then when it does shift into 2-3 it just slips. it will rev up but not move. just has no power. ive adjusted the tv cable but it doesnt seem to be helping. and its only intermittent. PLEASE HELP!

Was there any metal at all on the magnet when you pulled the pan to replace the filter? Also, usually when it goes into limp mode (it sounds like what you're describing), it triggers an MIL and a hard code in the computer.

Is there a MIL illuminated in the dash or possibly an ABS/Brake combination on?

Yeah, I'd re-adjust the front band because I read it again and it does sound like the band is too tight, that it is not letting 2nd gear disengage, thus causing it to slip going into 3rd. I'd also check adjustment of the rear band because this has been known to cause problems as well.

Make sure to torque the front band down to 72 in-lb then back off 2-7/8 turns, and for the rear band torque down to 72 in-lb and back off 2 turns.

Problem is that adjustment procedure has been updated a few times. It's better to drop the pan and manually see how much room there is between the clutch and the drum, 1/4 to 1/2 inches best when you pull down on the band.

No, silly goose.

P1756 Gov Press Not Equal to Target @ not15-20 PSI
Did you replace just the sensor or the entire governor pressure solenoid? There's a transducer (sensor) and then there's a solenoid. The governor pressure solenoid is not puting out the correct amount of pressure.
