I have a bad AC leak... loses pressure in about 3-6 hours... I bought UV glasses and a light and a can of UV dye... put it in last night and found the problem... The dye was practically flowing from the firewall... There is a tube at the bottom of the firewall just to the passenger side where the UV die is coming out... I know its the drain for the heating/AC box meaning my evaporator is gone but before I start crying I wanted a second opinion!!

You guessed it! The evaporator is bad. Fairly expensive part and a lot of work! Good luck!

 

it is the evap but it is not that much work it is rather expensive though
