Questions regarding installation of headers
I'm thinking about putting some headers into my 2000 4.7, I was just wondering a few things.
First, would I be better off with the JBA's or the Gibson headers?
Second, I've seen many consumer ratings saying that installation is a breeze, but I've also seen a fair share of horror stories telling me to go straight to the local exhaust shop, would someone with experience on the matter be able to confirm one or the either?
Performance-wise, would I be feeling considerable improvement in both power and mileage? And finally, will they make my truck louder or quieter?
I appreciate any advice I can get! Thank you!

headers will make your truck a little bit louder but that is all that they will do.
on the 4.7 you will not feel any power gain, nor will you notice any efficiency increase on a stock engine, the 4.7 was designed very well for its stock for such that unless you are looking at building it VERY big there is no point in getting headers.

Thank you for the input, knowing that there's no way I'd spend the $400+ !
That being said, I guess i'll skip them and have new speakers be my next investment
