Default Under Batt.

Hey all,,, I trying to fig out what the heck is under my Batt. lol,, At the base of the plate where the batt. sets is a plug like an has 2 wires going to it from the bottm going up,, Has a spring like washer around it an can push it up an down a lil,,,, Well I was wondering if anybody know what the name of it is an what is it for,,, My Durango is a 98 model with the 5.2 eng. an 4X4

Make it a little easier to know what it is that way...

It is called the Battery Temperature Sensor. It tells the PCM what temp your battery is so it will adjust the alternator output so it does not "cook" your battery.

+1 on what hydra said, its the battery temp sensor.

To answer your question on how to put photos up, you can either post them in a thumbnail on the site or you can use an image hosting site like Photobucket or Imageshack and then place it in your post. Second option provides better results for viewing on the site!
