Did you get the front diff and t-case skid plate? I see dents in mine and I rarely hit trails just deer hunting and iirc you want to make a trail truck right?

I second that, when my current set wears out I'm moving up to 33's. I already did the T/S lift. Shouldn't be to hard to clear 33's after you get your bumper built though.

Be aware that they are 2 different skid plate types. The 1998-1999 had a solid metal style, which if I remember was better. Then the 2000-2003 had a different style and I think it was plastic, but it had different protection. It's been a long time sence we talked about this, just be aware there is some differences.

Maybe someone with a newer year can announce the correct type.

But yea, the 1998-1999 was a 2 piece and metal. One on the front suspension that mounted to the frame and to a cross member if I remember right. And the T-case one bolts to the cross member under the T-case and to the trans mount if I remember correctly.

Yeah my 98's are solid metal and tough. With us both having 98's they should be the same though. I'll take a pic of the skid plate off the truck and where it mounts. I think hydra is right about where it mounts.
