Default Where can i find 8 pin pigtail that plugs in transmission

i have a 99 durango slt 5.2l 2wd and i am having some issues with transmission shifting, i have replaced the pcm and it went about 5 miles doing great, then the check engine light pops on and into "limp mode" we go. So i have check the 8 pin harness that plugs into the tranny and it has some bare wire showing and seems to be kinda melted, My question is where can i order a new pigtail to replace the bad one?

Welcome to DF
Sorry you can't just buy the pig tail. You would have to replace the wire harness or get one off a junker.

I would definitely buy the harness from a junkyard or the section of harness you need. If you do splice it in do it the right way and at the very least crimp and heat shrink it. The heat shrink connectors are about $1 a piece but will save you a lot of heartache later. If you want to get really fancy they make heat shrink connectors that have solder in them as well. At my dealer they cost a little over $7 for a pack of 5. They are the best way to go IMHO.
