Default Performance programming for 5.9L '02 Durango

Hi folks,

I've been doing a lot of things to my baby since I bought it, like repairing and installing modifications. And I've spent 3 months reading this forum on almost every subject I can think of while doing those.

I already installed fm super 40 muffler and spectre air filter, now it is time for a more decent performance upgrade... I found this, but I don't know if it's real or just a fake. What do you think? Is it worth buying it?

http://www.autoanything.com/performa...0A2601353.aspx

and is it rational to apply it to a truck that has 120.000 miles on it?

if you want a tuner go hypertech or superchips they are the only ones that work

Edge just came out with one to. You can get a SCT tuner from hemifever, that is the best one from what people on this forum have said. http://www.hemifevertuning.com/Produ...ctCode=SCT-Can Sean does alot with the tunes especially the torque management for the tranny. I will be getting one this summer, or at least it is up on the priority list.

I personally don't have a programmer but I've heard a lot of people have the superchips tuner, so could be worth looking into.

I will soon be putting up my original Hypertech III tuner on ebay after I get my f1 airgap installed and applied the sct tuner to my truck.

I can say the Hypertech III really gave me some noticable power gains at the 93 octane setting.

Hmm... And it's more cheaper than the other ones. Are u sure this is the one I should get for more power?

And if I get more power, should I use higher octane gas? Or can I achieve it with 87 ?

does the sct let you recalibrate your speedo?
Seems good but can you create your own program on the SCT? That would be perfect...

no need to post that frequently, the people who know the answer will respond with it you just need to give them time, bumping the post without adding usefull information does nothing except aggravate other members

If I am correct with my research most tunners require higher oct gas to achive better numbers. Something to do with timing and air/fuel ratio...blah blah.
But yes to answer your question you will have to run higher oct gas if I am correct.
