Default Please Help! MAP?? TPS??....

so i have this problem that has been ongoing for a few years now and ive just been dealing with it since it is kinda intermittent... I will try to describe what happens. I have a 98 Durango 4x4 with a 5.9, sometimes when i come to a stop light and sit for a couple seconds it will start to idle really rough and act like its gonna die,(sometimes it does) when the light turns green and i push on the gas it makes a sound like its missing and knocking and i slowly creep into the intersection, if i put the pedal almost to the floor it will (after a few seconds) kick in and i take off like a crazy person. it doesnt matter if its hot or cold it might do it first thing or after driving it half the day or sometimes it will go weeks where i dont notice anything. My first thought is MAP sensor, or maybe TPS...idk. And my check engine light is not on or i would go get codes. I have put in new plugs and wires, new battery and had the throttle body cleaned. Any help or info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My next step would be cap/rotor and iac.

Sounds like it needs a tune up. Possible plenum gone

Start with battery testing under load. Most likely culprit.

TPS is a good 2nd guess. 5.9 will run like a Prince on wasted cap & rotor so I wouldn't expect that as an upfront culprit.

How old are the plug wires?

+1 on plenum possibility thereafter.
