Ya know, I usually try not to be too big of an arsehole, but if I may ask, what information do you have that might make it okay to stick your hand in a moving fan spinning thousands of times per minute? I would just like to understand why one would need to verify that the engine be off.

It moves about a fourth a turn, how hard/easy are the clutches to install?

Easy as pie. I just used a big vice grip and lightly clamped it to the water pump and let it rotate till it caught an engine stud. Then I took channel locks and wrapped that baby off! Then you just have a few bolts holding the fan to the clutch. Personally I just removed mine altogether. Omaha NE temps range from anywhere -30F winter (with windchill to upwards of 105F in the summer. I have not had any problems yet. I rarely hit stop and go traffic but I keep my clutch and fan in my back seat just in case i happen to need it.
