Durango runs 10.6 in quarter
New best for my Durango. It been a long time coming in getting the truck dialed in
The results
60’ time, 1.566 seconds
¼ mile time, 10.655 seconds
¼ mile speed 125.25
Not too shabby for a full size Durango that has never had any attempt to be lighted and still has its trailer hitch. If anything, my truck is heaver that stock. The r-3 motor weighs 50 pounds more than a stock block 360. Add a roll bar, supercharger and air to water intercooler system. I’m going to get the truck weighted here in the next few weeks.
It was been a lot of work over the many years building and getting the small things right.
Now if the driver can dial his driving in. I’m sure the Durango is going to post better numbers.
Oh and I guess I don’t need the nitrous after all. The timing in the motor is set very conservative with more power to be had if needed. I can’t imagine using more timing and nitrous in the truck. I plan to leave things alone as a mid-10 second street Durango is just mind blowing for me.
Attached is the time slip. Since it was a test and tune for me I wasn’t trying to race the light and let it turn green so the RT time sucks.

But seriously we need to see a build sheet on this!
Now if you can get it under 10 that would be hands down god like! Pull up next to a honda and just wipe the floor with him!
