i had a power draw on my tranny to but not sure if its the same as yours. mine was because the neutral safety switch wires were worn together. the insulation was dry rotted and caused the wires to cross. causing my reverse lights to stay on while i was in drive and it was also causing my tranny to slip. i got a 98 5.2ltr with a 44rfe transmission.
