Arrow Plastidip: What's your thoughts?

So I have been hearing lots of good talk about this stuf and wanted your input. I will have a new front end for my D but it is Grey and Rango is Black. So was planning on getting this and shooting the whole truck black then hitting it with the glosser. If it come out good I might do the inside also.

So tell me, Have you used it? what do you think about it. Or just go with paint....

dont do it, it is something that was origionally meant for use on tool handles to provide that plastic insulating coating that was easy to repair/replace, it peels off very easily and will look like crap (maybe not immediately, but as soon as stones start hitting it the coating will being to peel)

Actually they have about 9 different colors now and yes the black is a matte but the have a glossifier top coat that makes it all shinny.

I hear you on the stones and such but been doing a lot of checking and a friend of mine on LI is a body guy and loves the stuff. He said the gloss top coat helps protect it better and makes it last longer. Besides if it starts looking like crap just peel and paint again. LOL

why do that when you could do it right the first time and not have to keep repainting.

I would probably only use it on the rims...but thats just me. It has a nice finish but its would be a pain to have to repaint if it does start coming off. Or you could just take it off and do something else with it.

I was thinking about doing my rims with it. Here is my input, if it was painted from the factory there is probably a reason for it so get a good quality paint with an excellent clear coat to keep it protected.
