Default Turn signal issue.. Help!

99 Durango,

Turn signal (either direction) blinks correctly for a bit then stays on solid. Can't find a relay, or any reference to a relay in the owners manual. Ideas?

Same place. Up high above the e-brake pedal. Square looking block.

I'm having similar issue. Blinks once then nothing. Relay is easy to find at O'Reillys but their $52. OUCH! Seeing if I can find other OEM sources. Rockauto has them for about $25 for an EFL-17 relay and I don't think they're that high a quality. Anyone have any good sources? ...ooops! Forgot to mention this is on my '99 w/5.2L.

Well now I have to correct my thinking. I just went out and pulled the relay and the Chrysler OEM number is cross-referenced on the Rockauto site for the EFL-17. For $25 I might just go ahead and figure a 50% is as good as it's going to get. By the way, the OEM number for the flasher is 56021915AA

The older versions are located in the fuse panel at the bottom. Open the little dash panel door and it is at the bottom. In the later years they move it up behind the fuse panel.

Well that sucks if pricing is totally dependent on what region you live in. As I mentioned, O'Reillys wanted $52. I bought mine from RockAuto.com which is a significantly wholesale priced online auto parts dealer. I've bought a lot from them and saved a ton of cash. I'm wondering if you guys are talking about the old-style flashers that were made of aluminum. My relay is a very large cube-shaped relay that fits behind the fuse panel and access to it is waaay up near the top of the underside of the dash. RockAuto was the cheapest I found that cross-referenced the OEM Chrysler part number. Even NAPA wanted more than Oreillys. At any rate it should be here today or tomorrow. I'm not going to balk at having to pay $30/shipped.

I just called Carquest and the part was $32.31 so we're missing the mark here somewhere's friends.
