Default Replacing rusted oil pan on 2000 durango 4.7 4x4?

Ill preface by saying I am pretty broke right now. And wasn't ready after moving for something like this to happen.

The truck is leaking about half a quart a week. So it's a slow leak. And I have just been keeping an eye on the level.

Meineke said it would be 1100 to fix. With 6 hours labor, because they have to lift the motor. Is that correct? I was thinking I could JB Weld until I save up the money. Any ideas out there?

If you must, +1 on the JB Weld. They are right on the lift out however their price is insane for just replacing the pan with no other work being done.

Good luck.

yup in a 4x4 the engine has to come up, or the front axle down.
