Default Tire sizes

Anyone know what the largest oputside tire diameter the 2000-2003 Durango can handle without needing a lift kit? I am looking at doing BF Goodrich Radial AT/OP tires int he future and would like to go up from the 31x10.5x15 I have to maybe a 32x11.5x15. I can't imagine that there is that much of a clearence issue with moving up that one size and I know they will fit on my facory rims. the only concern I have is if I need to air down the larger sidewall tire will be more succeptable to beadlock blow out and there could be some turning diameter issues. Also will I need to regear and how much extra stress will it put on my ball joints etc.?

There's not much difference in tire inches in diameter... 32x11.5-15 = approx. 31.5 in. and the 31x10.5-15 is 30.5 in. Go to tire rack and search under Tire Tech / Light Truck Tires. This maybe some help. [8D]

I was thinking the same thing, but as I spoke to some guys out at the 4x4 performance shop they said there would be clearance issues and that the ball joints may wear out faster with the extra weight. The outside diameter is so small an issue that It seems rediculous. Thought I'd get some help.
