Default 2000 dodge durango,,,, HELP!!!!!

my girlfriend has a 2000 durango which has been sitting for two years. She has lost the "FOB" for the security system. I have a spare key and have had it running as of late. there seems to be a problem with the factory alarm since it is now locking doors and activating on its own.

I can no longer get it to disarm which is keeping me from starting it. Please....... does anyone out there know how to disable this thing so I can start it and drive it to the dealer for repair. I can't afford to have it towed that far

Did you try turning the key in all the door lock to deactive the system?

the locks locking and unlocking on their own is not a feature of the alarm system, it is a sign that the CTM is failing, the CTM is what controls the alarm system, and sounds like it needs to be replaced.

Yes I did try putting key in other locks. Does nothing.

Is replacing the CTM a expensive fix?
