2003 4.7L Durango replacement Cat
Guys:
I have a 2003 Durango with the 4.7L and it's developed an exhaust leak by the upstream driver's-side cat. It looks like I need to replace the entire assembly. I'm looking online (rocauto) and see a bunch of so-called OE replacements with only one converter (the stock truck has three). I'm wondering what anyone else has done about this. Can you replace a single, leaking Cat, or do I need to replace the entire Y-pipe assembly.
I assume I need a three-cat system like the stock one to avoid OE sensor code issues?
What manufacturers/part numbers should I be looking at?
I'm also looking at an entire exhaust as the OEM muffler has finally rusted out at 181,000 miles. I'm not looking to spend a ton here, but thinking a magnaflow exhaust would give me a nice tone, without dropping a lot of cash on a high-mileage truck.
Should I look at a local muffler shop or just buy online and bolt up the assembly?
Thanks in advance.

your truck has CA emissions on it, that is what you should be looking to replace (3 cats is the clue here), magnaflow sounds good and flows good, if you are going to have a shop do the install ask them for a price, if you are going to do it yourself i would just go online.
