Well thanks. Like I said, the smallest bulb at the parts store was too big, and couldnt find a bulb small enough at radio shack either.

Bulb with the socket:

Part # 90011-11038

It's a Toyota part number but it seems to be the same socket and bulb and it's cheap too. Probably easier to find that a Dodge replacement.

Just call your local Toyota dealership and see if they have any to compare to.

Jeez, I signed up on Dakota-Durango forum and it seems that forum is a waste of time and effort. I called Toyota and they have them for about $5 each. Since the Toyota dealership is farther from me, Im going to stop in the Dodge dealership to see if they can match the bulb. They cant find a PN for it either.

I found out long ago that Durango and Dakota specific forums are hard to use because of very low traffic and most posters are looking for info...not giving it back out. Hit it and quit it mentality.

This forum is good because readers other sections come into the Durango and Dakota forums to help out. I really only discovered that because I came here for my Ram and check out Durango from time to time and see people cross-posting to help as many people as they can.

Meh, that super bright LEDs place has these things for $2 each if I knew which size to get. If i remember correctly, 1/8" is just over 3mm. Three 3mm LEDs in cool white is 3.87 without shipping, and with shiping is 8.87 - or the price of two incandescent bulbs at Toyota.

Go put one of the Toyota parts in your hand and see how close it is. Aside from color it looks near identical.

If you have a local place...just drive there and have your parts installed by lunch tomorrow.

I guess I don't see the issue. Drive 10 miles, get parts, drive home, install.

Or...order parts online, wait several DAYS to get said parts, and install hoping they are correct.

Why, in the name of Zeus' butt hole are you scoffing at a 20 mile round trip?

That's the stupidest thing I have heard on this forum yet. 10 - 1 it's not made by Toyota. The one you pulled out of your Durango wasn't even made by Mopar. It was made by the same manufacturers that make the Homelink components. Ever wonder why Homelink is in Fords, Mopars, Toyotas, Lexus...the manufacturers just contract to buy the stuff and put it in their cars.

Do what you want, I'm done trying to help you out.
