the trip issue may be about where you live, for me to go anywhere im driving at least 15 miles round trip, and 30 round trip is pretty common as well.
that said if you take that bulb into radioshack you should be able to match it to an LED if you want to they do stock LEDs (at least the one by me does)

That's the stupidest thing I have heard on this forum yet. 10 - 1 it's not made by Toyota. The one you pulled out of your Durango wasn't even made by Mopar. It was made by the same manufacturers that make the Homelink components. Ever wonder why Homelink is in Fords, Mopars, Toyotas, Lexus...the manufacturers just contract to buy the stuff and put it in their cars.

Okay so I went to dealership and the above mentioned part number isnt even close to the bulb. The closest match I could find from Toyota was 90076-04003. Its almost the exact same, just a little bigger. I had to pull out the Dremel and gring the base around the bulb down a bit to get the bigger socket to fit in the old hole. The bulbs are $3.32 USD each.
