Default Shift Kit Q's

I just recieved my shift kit today (made by Superior) and ive just been looking through the instructions and i got to the part about setting the shift firmness. It gives two settings for regular and two for heavy duty. My D is a daily driver and occasionally some street racing and im just looking to firm up the shifts a bit so im leaning toward the firmer shift for regular duty. For regular duty it says to reuse stock pressure regulator and tcc springs and set distance between spring retainer bracket and threaded spring stop to .260" for regular or set it to .310" for firmer shifts. For heavy duty it says use stock tcc spring but use supplied regulator spring and back off adjustment skrew to bring threaded spring stop flush with spring retainer bracket. And for even firmer, adjust spring stop inward no more than .260". Any thoughts on this would be very helpful. I cant exactly picture in my head how everything is set up until i get the valve body out.

Unless your trans is newly rebuilt I would choose the regular settings.
