Default 44re or 46re

Ive been doing some research on my tranny and i always thought it was a 44re because my D is 4wd and has the 5.2 but when i looked in the glove box it gives the code dgb which is the same as the code dgt which says 46re. the tag on the tranny is unreadable. Is there any other place on the vehicle where it might say?

If you look at the transmission pan, is the pan square or is it square with a hump? The square pan is a 42/44RE and the other is a 46/47/48RE transmission pan. Or you can send me the last 9 of the vin by a pm and i can tell you.
