the platinum plugs dont work in these trucks

also if you got 19mpg driving w/o a trailer i believe you, if you had a trailer on there is no way in hell (the overhead console is not correct)

Default Spark Plugs

Thanks! I'll go with the regular Champion truck plugs. You're correct about MPG...my math was off, more like 15. I went 107 miles on a little more than 1/4 tank, ~7 gallons.

53,000 miles on the truck. Do you think it's time for coolant flush? It seems like a pain to do!

Also read here the truck likes 180 degree thermostat? However, this MOD seemed to be combined with free flow exhaust and CAI? Thoughts? The auto parts stores only show 195 Thermostat for the truck. Any make and part number recommendations for 180 thermostat? Stock thermostat has a weep hole? Is this a concern if I go with a 180?

the 5.2 and 5.9L engines like the 180* stat, the 4.7 likes the stock 195* stat

get a test kit for the coolant, if it passes the test then there is no reason to change it. if it doesnt have the correct boil and freeze protection then you change it.
